Description
EDGRADECOMP indicates whether the person completed the highest grade attended within the level of education reported in EDGRADEATT.
Comparability
This variable is only available beginning with the MIC6 round. Used in combination with EDGRADATT (highest grade attended), users can create values comparable to EDGRADE for earlier MICS rounds, which reports highest grade completed within level.
EDLEVEL records the highest level of education attended for all MICS rounds.
The early childhood education is not reported in grade variables for most samples.
The ages ranges in the universe vary across samples.
