Description

LASTSEXPARTNERRELATE indicates the relationship of the respondent with the last partner with whom they had sexual intercourse. The question was asked only of those respondents who reported having intercourse in the last year.

This variable includes information for both women and men respondents.

Comparability

There are universe differences with respect to age. A small number of samples restrict the universe of respondents based on marital or cohabitation status, fertility history, or sexual experience.

MICS Round 3 women samples addressed the survey question only to women age 15-24.
