Description

MENSTLASTSTARTUNIT denotes the unit (days, weeks, month, years, or other) of the first day of the last menstrual period of the respondent. It must be interpreted in combination with MENSTLASTSTARTNUM, which indicates the number corresponding to the unit.

Comparability

The data are comparable with the exception that some samples directed the survey question only to ever-married women.
