Description
CLFAMWORK indicates whether the child performed any paid or unpaid work for the family in the past week, such as selling goods on the street, or working on the farm or business. Work performed for a business run by the child is included.
Comparability
Despite the age variation, this variable is comparable across samples. Note that CLFAMWORK is available for rounds 2, 3, and 4. See CLFAMBUSINESS, CLSELL, CLGARDEN, and CLOTHERINC in the "Household Characteristics" (Round 5) and the "Children 5-17" (Round 6) units of analysis.
