Description
FLRECOGNIZE3 reports whether the child correctly or incorrectly identified the symbol for the number 30.
Comparability
There are no comparability issues for this variable. All samples use the number 30 as the third number in the series of questions asking the child to identify the symbols for numbers.
If the child incorrectly answered or didn't answer two consecutive questions in this series, interviewers were instructed to say "Thank you. That is ok. We will go to the next activities" and record "No attempt" for this and any following questions in this series.
