ANCMALARIAL indicates whether the respondent received any anti-malarial treatment during their last pregnancy.

This variable is typically found in Rounds 3-5. A more specific variable found in Rounds 3-6 reports if the respondent took the drug Fansidar (ANCFANSIDAR) during her last pregnancy.

Comparability

Some samples restrict the universe of respondents to ever-married women.
