Description

CLWATERWOOD indicates whether the child fetched water or collected wood in the last week.

Comparability

The age universe for CLWATERWOOD differs across rounds and samples.
Note that CLWATERWOOD is available for rounds 4 and 5 only, in the "Household Members" and the "Household Characteristics" units of analysis, respectively. In rounds 2 and 3, fetching water and collecting firewood were recorded along with other household chores, rather than separately; see CLCHORES) in the "Household Members" unit of analysis. Conversely, in Round 6, fetching water and collecting firewood were each recorded as distinct activities; see CLWOOD and CLWATER in the "Children 5-17" unit of analysis.
