Description

FLWORDSWRONG reports the number of words the child read incorrectly as a part of the reading passage in the foundational learning module.

Comparability

The total number of words in the reading passage varies by sample and language. Even within a sample, a child may select which language they wish to read for the reading passage. For countries that provide reading booklets in multiple languages, this variable represents the child's first chosen language or the language the child most often speaks at school or at home.

For a very small number of cases, the number of words the child read incorrectly exceeds the number of words the child attempted (FLWORDSATTEMPT).
