Description
FLREADWELL reports how well the child read the story. This variable is a summary variable of FLWORDSATTEMPT and FLWORDSWRONG that reports if the child read at least one word correctly.
Comparability
Differences in the universe result from mother's consent, child's assent, or if the reading booklets provided by the interviewer were not available in a language that the child speaks at home or at school. For countries that provide reading booklets in multiple languages, this variable represents the child's first chosen language or the language the child most often speaks at school or at home.
