Description

GEO1_SN identifies the household's department of residence within Senegal (Dakar) in the 2015 MICS survey.

The 2015 Senegal (Dakar) MICS survey was performed only in the region of Dakar, and the available geographic units represent the four departments of the Dakar region: Dakar, Guédiawaye, Pikine, Rufisque.

The first three digits of GEO1_SN provide the country code; the last three digits specify the geographic unit within the country. Leading zeros are used when the geographical unit within the country requires less than a three-digit code.
