Description

GEO1_VU identifies the household's province of residence within Vanuatu in the 2007 MICS survey.

The 2007 Vanuatu MICS survey includes the six provinces of Malampa, Penama, Sanma, Shefa, Tafea, and Torba and the cities of Port Vila (part of Shefa province) and Luganville (part of Sanma province).

The first three digits of GEO1_VU provide the country code; the last three digits specify the geographic unit within the country. Leading zeros are used when the geographical unit within the country requires less than a three-digit code.
