Description

GEO2_ IQ2011 identifies the household's district of residence within Iraq in the 2011 MICS survey. Districts are the secondary level of geography in Iraq, after governorates.

GEO2_ IQ2011is a nine-digit variable. The first six digits provide the governorate codes for GEO2_IQ without the 3-digit country ISO code, and the last three digits specify the district within the country. Leading zeros are used when the geographical unit within the country requires less than a three-digit code. Other geography variables for Iraq include spatiotemporally harmonized GEO1_IQ and GEO2_IQ.

Note: District information on the birth records is missing for all cases in the South/Central region.
