Description
GEO1_BZ2006 identifies the household's district of residence within Belize in the 2006 MICS survey. Districts are the primary level of geography in Belize.
The first three digits of GEO1_BZ2006 provide the country code; the last three digits specify the geographic unit within the country. Leading zeros are used when the geographical unit within the country requires less than a three-digit code. Other geography variables for Belize include the spatiotemporally harmonized GEO1_BZ that applies to all Belize samples, the sample-specific GEO1_BZ2011, that applies to the 2011 survey, and the sample-specific GEO1_BZ2015, that applies to the 2015 survey.
