Description

GEO1_GY2014 identifies the household's region of residence within Guyana in the 2014 MICS survey. Regions are the primary level of geography in Guyana.

The first three digits of GEO1_GY2014 provide the country code; the last three digits specify the geographic unit within the country. Leading zeros are used when the geographical unit within the country requires less than a three-digit code. Other geography variables for Guyana include the spatiotemporally harmonized GEO1_GY that applies to all Guyana samples, and the sample-specific GEO1_GY2006, that applies to the 2006 survey, and GEO1_GY2019, that applies to the 2019 survey.
