Description
GEO1_GW2014 identifies the household's administrative region of residence within Guinea-Bissau in the 2014 MICS survey. Administrative regions are the primary level of geography in Guinea-Bissau.
The first three digits of GEO1_GW2014 provide the country code; the last three digits specify the geographic unit within the country. Leading zeros are used when the geographical unit within the country requires less than a three-digit code. Other geography variables for Guinea-Bissau include the spatiotemporally harmonized GEO1_GW that applies to all samples, the sample-specific GEO1_GW2006 that applies to the 2006 survey, and the sample-specific GEO1_GW2018 that applies to the 2018 survey.
