Description

GEO1_ CF2006 identifies the household's prefecture of residence within the Central African Republic in the 2006 MICS survey. Prefectures are the primary level of geography in the Central African Republic.

The first three digits of GEO1_ CF2006 provide the country code; the last three digits specify the geographic unit within the country. Leading zeros are used when the geographical unit within the country requires less than a three-digit code. Other geography variables for the Central African Republic include the spatiotemporally harmonized GEO1_CF applying to all surveys, and sample-specific geography for 2010 and 2018 in GEO1_CF2010 and GEO1_CF2018.
