Description

GEO1_ CF2010 identifies the household's prefecture of residence within the Central African Republic in the 2006 MICS survey. Prefectures are the primary level of geography in Central African Republic.

The first three digits of GEO1_ CF2010 provide the country code; the last three digits specify the geographic unit within the country. Leading zeros are used when the geographical unit within the country requires less than a three-digit code. Other geography variables for Central African Republic include the spatiotemporally harmonized GEO1_CF, and sample-specific geography for 2006 and 2018 in GEO1_CF2006 and GEO1_CF2018.

Comparability

In the 2010 survey, Vakaga prefecture was lightly sampled due to conflict. Users should be aware that although responses are present for Vakaga, they are not representative.
